Hello domdeluc,
images change icon only since zoom level 12. This high effective optimization that has huge impact on performance and usability of map.
Anyway if you want to use default icons in all cases, it`s possible to disable this feature in locus configuration file

change parameter "map_items_points_simplification_till_zoom" to "0" to disable this feature at all ...
