Zoom lock not locking

Gergy Verjux shared this problem 4 years ago
Solved

I am using some sqlitedb raster maps created with MobAC and having the zoom levels 8 10 12 14 and 15. Locking on a given zoom level (say 14) does not work: when zooming in and out, the map still jumps to zoom levels 12 or 15. I have 'Optimize raster map resolution' turned off.

Hi Gergy,

could you please share the map with us for testing and analysis? We can't replicate the problem.

I can hardly share the maps, they are 4GB in size. I created a small sample map for you but I could not reproduce the issue. Then I tried to reproduce it with the big maps and could not until I found the reason: you need 2 maps, and the scenario is as follows: open map1 > set the zoom lock > move to an area in map2 (displayed because of the automatic switching) > zoom lock is broken in map2 (and also in map1).

Hi Gergy,

I'm afraid without proper testing we can't replicate the problem. You can share the two maps in this storage: https://asamm.myqnapcloud.com/share.cgi?ssid=0xB8VrG. The size doesn't matter.

Here are 2 test maps that should allow you to reproduce:

open test > zoom to level 14 > set zoom lock > check that it works by zooming in/out > move in the map to the south until the map switches to test2 > zoom in/out > zoom lock no longer works.

Hi Gergy,

we've tested the bug and replicated the problem. Thank you for the report. The bug will be fixed in the next version, planned to come out in mid September.

best regards
