Export to OSM: two "toasts": successful and (too fast to read)

Viajero Perdido shared this problem 4 years ago
Solved

Hi. I've been exporting tracks to OSM. Occasionally, a track will trigger TWO "toast" messages: the green "Process successful", and underneath that (very quickly, too fast to read), another toast message in orange. That appears to be an error message, but I can't read it fast enough. The export doesn't reach the target.

Could you possibly give a few seconds to read the toast? Thanks.

Managed to catch a freeze-frame of a video. "Whoops" and the rest is cut off.

It seems that certain tracks always have this problem; other tracks export OK.

Update. It appears that having a "/" in the TAGS field caused the problem. (?!?) When I change "/" to "and", the problem disappears. (I'm probably using that field incorrectly...)

Hello Viajero,

good observation with slash character in "tags". I'm trying to somehow escape this character, but seems it is always refused. So best I've done is that this character is before upload changed for space. This creates two tags instead of one, but at least track is uploaded.

Usable solution?

Perfect, thanks.

I don't really care about tags anyway, but the Description is pre-filled with a bunch of numbers, so out of laziness, I've been putting my description in the empty box instead.
