Hello TonyH,

I`m sure such serious issue will have much more reports then just from You. So I think it will be more problem of your map, then Locus itself.

Are you able to share you map file with me, so I can check it? Or you may use any SQLite tool for desktop computer (plugin Sqlite manager for a Firefox for example) and check database by yourself

Hi Menion,

I have checked the map file by Firefox plugin SQLite manager and seems that no problem. Besides, the map file can work well in version 2.8.7.

I have put the map file on Dropbox, It would be nice if you could check it for me.

Hi Tony

Your map is "ok"

The Integrity check was ok

I loaded your map with

Samsung Galaxy SII 4.0.4 and

Samsung Galaxy SII 4.1.4 device

First start i have to wait 100 seconds. (index check)

On 2nd start there was no problem.

Please check:

Rename your Locus folder

Start Locus

Close Locus

Copy(move) your map from backup to new Locus/maps folder

Start Locus - wait...

What happened?

ah yes very good comment. If you map is really big, then it should take quite a long for a first start. Please be patient in this case. just leave a device for a few minutes and I`m sure it will work.

And thanks gynta, completely forget on this :)

Finally, I can load the map file. I just follow gynta your procedure, but I need 7 mins

to load the map file. It is so strange that same file only need less than 1 mins in version 2.8.7.

Anyway, the issue was solved and thanks gynta & Menion !!

your new Galaxy Nexus: 420 seconds ??

strange!

..but i hope you talk abut FIRST start

And now?

Should load in 1second! (see videoclip in my first posting)

- corrupt sdcard? try to change the SDcard - just only for an test.

- do you using a lower speed class SDcard? -> http://www.centerpointaudio.com/Image...

- bad custom ROM?

Anyway - you have a bigger problem...

Yes, It is first start only.

Actually Galaxy Neuxs have no sdcard slot. It only have internal memory.

If I uninstall the app and re-install the 2.8.7 version, the first start is less than 60s.

I have tested on two Galaxy Nexus with stock ROM 4.2.2 & 4.2.1 both have the same problem. Fortunately, the problem only on first start , after that everything work well.
