Problem recording track while comeback

I use a lot of locus for walking in the woods, but I noticed that when I want to go back following the track recorded in the first leg, even if they are on the same track, the point where they are is far from the forward track even if they are right on the same track . Why ?

Dear Luigi.

The GPS signal may be impaired, for example, by overgrown tree tops, a backpack phone, a high built-up area that limits the view of the sky.

What is the difference in distance?

Best regards.

I keep the phone in my pocket and when I open it it has no obstacle. In the woods a difference of 5 meters can be decisive for not finding the path. The difference is also 10/20 with locus. I tried another app and didn't see this problem. How can I solve it?

Hello.

I'm sorry, but the accuracy of GPS is 5-10 m, that the accuracy of 10-20m in the forest it's ok.

Best regards.

Adela
