Import of GPX Files into Basecamp fails

Hi,

I use Locus Pro 3.4.0 and Basecamp 4.2.4 (Mac). When I try to import a GPX-File from Locus into Basceamp I get an error in Basecamp (saying there is something wrong with the gpx file). This doesn't happen when I use Locus 3.3.1.

I found that the reason for the error is in line 10 of the gpx file (see below):

If I remove line 10 I can import the file into Baseacmp without errors.

thank you for your reports, it's of course correct.

Issue is now fixed and will work as expected in next Locus version.

I use Locus pro 3.42.0 - same Issue.

Is it already fixed, or a new mistake?

How can I open gpx files to correct it by myself as Alexander did?

I tryed Editor, but do not see any text.

Edit:

Excuse me, now I saw, the gpx-file has 0 bytes, therefore the Windows-Editor showes nothing.

I tried it soemtimes with different tracks. Any Ideas?

Hello Walter,

it more looks like a problem caused by copying content from your device to the PC. I may only suggest using some cloud service (Dropbox, Google Drive) as I know, that MTP protocol causes some problems from time to time.

I have copied a lot between PC and smartphone, including gpx files. But I now have a new smartphone (CAT S61), is this also solved for other smartphones with this protocol?
