On my phone I can set a pemanent view of altitude by choosing GPS.

Is it possible to permanently show the altitude on my Watch Active 2 in the map view?

Hi,

what do you mean by the "permanent view of altitude"? Is it "dynamic elevation" feature displaying elevation on the position of the cursor?

Hi,

On my phone, when I choose GPS, I can see my elevation to. So Each time when I am looking on my phone where I am, I can also see my altitude.

When my phone is in my backpack and I am looking on my watch I can not see the altitude. It would be helpfull if I could also see this on the map on my watch.

So yes maybe it is the same as ""dynamic elevation" feature displaying elevation on the position of the cursor" . But I dont know what that exactly is?

Hi Wim,

you wrote "when I choose GPS" - do you mean choosing GPS in the topbar info box? The watch interface is designed in a different way. Altitude can be displayed in the track recording dashboard only.

Yes that is correct.

I hoped there is a way that you could also see the altitude on the locus map on the watch. But probably there is not.
