Settings Screen in Android 4.4 blank

Oliver Naumann shared this problem 10 years ago
Solved

Since I updated my Nexus 4 to android Kitkat 4.4, all second level settings only show a blank screen. I can click on Settings, and get the topics (like Display, maps, navigation (hope this is right, I use German Settings)) but when I click on any, it is just blank.

Good day Oliver,

unfortunately due to some internal issue in Android development tools, this, a while before release fixed problem, appear in final published version.

We are very sorry for this and expect fixed version during next week.

thanks Menion, glad you found the issue and will have a fix soon. Holding back on the Kitkat upgrade for my Nexus 7 so I can at least use this device for maps :-)

I just installed Locus Pro on my Nexus 5. If I go in settings, I can see all the setting pages. However, if I click on any pages, all I see is a blank white screen with settings written on top.

Rebooting does not help. Reinstalling the app does not help. It does work fine on other devices. Anybody seing this on Nexus 5 or Android 4.4?
