Beep instead of Speech?

Hello, I love your LocusMap App. It's my prefered outdoor navigation app. There are only two things that could be improved in my opinion.

1. For navigation mode you can only choose between silent and text-to-speech. For my cases it would be sufficient to have only an acoustic hint like a loud beep. "Zielführung" doesn't work well because imported tracks from Komoot don't have any waypoints.

2. I use additionally a smartwatch with wear OS. I would like to have a vibration hint for every direction change like in the original Komoot app.

Thank you very much for reading my suggestions and I'm looking forward to your answers.

Greetings

Timo

both the above points should be able to be created using tasker app ( and autowear for 2.)

bit fiddly tho...

Hi Timo,

ad 1) a less fiddly solution is via the "morse-code" navigation voice called Samuel, available for free in the Locus Store > Features

I also use Samuel Morse code but would love to have a explanation of the code, which signal is which instruction. Is there any link to such an overview?

Find in the cmt tag in the waypoint list by the attached gpx file.

Best view is by the pc freeware gpx editor: https://sourceforge.net/projects/gpxeditor.
