Huge track times at imported tracks with new version 3.50.0

Solved

Hi,

I just installed the new version 3.50.0. Now the track times of all imported tracks created with routeconverter have very huge values (e.g. 2454498:00:43, should be 3 or 4 hours). Has the calculation of these times been changed in any way in version 3.50.0? May be routeconverter makes a mistake here, I don't know.

Hi, I'm not sure, wether older versions (before 3.50.0) displayed more reasonable values than 3.50.0 at tracks created with routeconverter. Before routeconverter I used GPSies.com to create new tracks. And for these older tracks Locus Map 3.50.0 displays realistic times near 3 or 4 hours. So, may be routeconverter makes the mistake here. Here is a sample GPX file created with routeconverter.

I do not know how you produced the file by Routeconvertor but both the attached timestamps and name tag are weird. It seems like a mess. I will attach a file with timestamps corresponding to 14kmh speed and removed the name tags.

Test again by attached file.

The track was created by stitching several track snippets with routeconverter. And routeconverter preserves the dates and times of the track points of the snippets. This perhaps explains the huge track times. routeconverter can adjust the time values of the points, but I didn't use this function, since it is laborious. My assumption was, that older versions of Locus Map (before 3.50.0) displayed more realistic values at tracks created with my method. But may be I am wrong at this point. So I think, you can forget this issue.

Thanks tkansgar,

I can't imagine, that times should be correct for this track even in previous versions. As Willy (0709) mentioned, times in this track are a mess!

Anyway there are two problems > highlighted points & times. I believe, I've found reason for both problems in your file and it should be solved in next 3.50.1 version I'm working on.

Thanks for bug report,

Menion
