Hi,

Could I ask you what theme do you use, please? The map - is it some latest map download from OpenAndroMap?

Thanks, Petr

Yeah it's latest one (downloaded yesterday) but I had the same problem about 6 months ago. So changed to online map and forgot about it. If I understand you correctly about theme - it doesn't matter. General/Elevate/Elements all are broken. When I disable "background" it' even worse.

Maybe it's related to phone dark mode? Because icons in few places (menu, etc.) are black on semitransparent black panels. It was much worse in previous version.

Ok, I've tested it. It is related to dark mode. Changing to light resolved my problem but I prefer dark one, so if you can solve icons nad flickering problem it would be nice.

Hi,

I found this old and unfinished issue. I think that the dark mode was little bit improved in the last year. So I hope it's little bit better now.

Thanks, Petr

Basically I've excluded Locus from dark mode and it works like a charm. Will test it if dark mode is now more polished.

Well the Dark Mode should be supported in the LocusMap 4 now. But maybe will be OK also in LM PRO (if you include LM Pro for dark mode). But the map itself doesn't support the dark mode - only the application menu. I'd expect that black artifacts may occurs if you include LM Pro for dark mode.

Probably the best option would be combination of LM 4 with enabled application dark mode (Menu > Settings > Controlling >Display > dark mode) and I'd also suggest to try "Night mode for the map" (Menu > Settings > Advanced features > Map color mode > Night mode. ) The night mode is only color inversion but may be helpful
