Locus on W10 Android emulator?

As an follow-on question to my earlier one about importing routes into Locus and getting sensible nav instructions (the answer seems to be "you can't"), does anyone have any experience in running Locus in an emulator? I really need the big screen and keyboard for creating long routes. Which emulator lets me do that? I do have Android Studio (wrote a couple of Android apps a few years back), but it's a bit too 'heavy' just for emulation.

Hello Marek,

We have good experience with BlueStacks and Meme Play.

But in a few weeks we should be launching Locus Map 4, where you will be able to plan a route on a web planner.

You can find more information here and here on our website.

Have a nice day

If it's only a few weeks then I'll wait for Locus Map 4.

One questions: Will the web planner be available to non-subscription Locus Classic users?

Alternatives:

1. B_Router web: https://brouter.de/brouter-web/#map=14/50.8201/5.3640/standard

Options: turnInstructionMode Locus-style. Export gpx.

2. GraphHopper web: https://graphhopper.com/maps/

Use next tool to download into Locus compatible gpx.

3. Plotaroute web: https://www.plotaroute.com/routeplanner

Download: GPS > GPX > (Set Route name) > Track > Directions.

1+2+3: @ Locus import; do not forget to check “Merge points with imported track”
