Locus Map 4: Label of the point on the map

Hello,

in Locus Map 3, if you tap and hold on any point on a map, you get a pop up rectangle which displays the address and has a ">" button: if you select that button you are given the chance to "Navigate to" or to "Guide on" the selected location.

This is a very useful function that I often use.

Please can you tell me how to do the same in Locus Map 4?

In Settings > Controlling > Map Screen there is a configuration "Tap and hold to display address", which works but it does not have the ">" button and does not allow to "Navigate to" or to "Guide on" the selected point.

Thanks!

Hello Hilbert,

If you want to use "Navigate to" or "Guide to" in Locus Map 4

click on any point (as you used to in the Pro version).

Then a table will appear at the bottom

where you can choose from the options offered - see the picture in the appendix.

I hope this information helped you.

Have a nice day

Hello Andrea,

thanks for your answer.

This works only if there is a point where you tap in the map, but how to get it for any location on the map, like in V3?

E.g., it could be a crossroad, a field, a point on a trail, ...

If there is no point then you have to click for a long time.

Hello Hilbert,

It should work as well - with a longer press.

Hello Andrea,

with version 4.1.0 it is now working fine on all the devices I tested.

Thanks a lot.
