Turn off guidance panel when guiding along route

I'd like to turn off the guidance panel (with the two customisable fields) when guiding along a route. This is because I use a "dashboard" which is much more configurable (lots more fields, control over size, background etc).

There is an option to turn off the guidance panel but this seems to relate to guiding to a point only.

Is there another option somewhere that I'm missing?

Hello Guy,

I've changed your question to an idea. This option makes sense and was missing in the app. Will be added in the next Locus Map 4/Locus Map Pro versions.

Was very interested in this option. Same here, because dashboard.

Downloaded version from play store today... It does not seem to work.

@Menion, in the new version, I turned both Guidance Panel options off. But when I start new guidance, the top information (the two user definable columns) is appearing.

You may also allow (optionally and of course not default) to turn off the big guiding button. I once asked for it. Hikers may relate to audio output and if a look at the app is necessary to re-check, they likely rather look on the track.

And control of navigation can be reached elsewhere.

Today? I've published it a few minutes ago, interesting :). Also interesting is that it works correctly for me. Are your changing the correct settings? Guidance along the track has its own settings for the hiding panel.

See screenshot, this is what I changed.

Heh oki, but this is the navigation panel, not the guidance panel :).

Ah 🙃, needs such an option as well because of dashboards or just if people want to save space!

I can confirm this is working well for me (I just use guidance not navigation), thanks!
