Not track recording correctly

I am a new user of the Locus maps. The first two times, the maps have show the correct routes taken however the last two rides I have had the same issues On viewing the maps after a ride, the route highlighted is not the track that I have taken. I am viewing straight lines only between two points. How do I correct this issue?

Dear Helen.

Please check the GPS settings on your device and in the app.


1) make sure Locus Map has all system permissions regarding accurate location access.


If you have Android 10, select the option "all the time".


2) make sure Locus Map is excluded from all means of battery optimization.

3) in Locus settings > GPS&sensors > turn GPS auto-off OFF


4) in Locus settings > GPS&sensors > turn Google Services assisted location ON


(only if you use full Google Services, and not just MicroG solution)

Hi Adela

Many thanks for your quick response and suggestions which I hope with rectify the matter.  I have put these suggestions in place.  I will re-use the app again tomorrow and hope this will rectify the issue.

I have attached a file covering a ride from yesterday.  As you can see, the straight lines.

Hello.

As I saw your route, it looks like GPS inaccuracy. Try the settings and see.
