Locus Pro call through external apps not work on A11+
Solved
Dear Locus Team,
I'm using a hiking app called 'Harzer Wandernadel'. This app tries to call the Locus Pro app for displaying waypoints. This is not working. The developer told me, with the new Android11 security guidelines it is part of the called app (here the Locus Pro app) to allow the call.
My question is: when will Locus Pro/Assam Software allow these external calls? I really look forward to use the excellent Locus maps also together with other maps.
Thanks and best regards
Joern Kruse
Hello Joern,
indeed, there are some changes in Android 11 that require changes also on the Locus Map side. Unfortunately, I'll most probably do not work on it sooner than at start of next year. Once there will be any news, I'll let you know here.

Good day Menion,
after per yesterdays update of the 'Harzer Wandernadel' app it is now possible to call Locus Map Pro through this app! So everything's fine and I'm happier than ever to use Locus... Keep on! :)

Hello Joern,
this seems to be somehow fixed on the side of the Harzer Wandernadel app. Perfect :).
