Problem with initialization at start (error 1812)
Solved
For the last month, I tried to download elevation data but Locus Pro says it is unable to download. So I tried resetting (cleared the data of) the app. But when I tried to open the app, after a few seconds of initialization, it shows "No internet connection!" I am a paid user and I have updated to the latest version.

Hello Roque,
Error 1812 means that the timeout (45 s) was not enough to communicate with the Google Play / AppCenter server
Low internet connection.
Can you try another type of connection?
Thank you
Have a nice day
Andrea

Hello Roque,
as an app dev, I'll try to help here. Unwanted error 1812 usually means, as Andrea wrote before, a timeout in the app connection to the Google Play service. This whole task is done in the app to validate the user license and because of this, you see no problem in the Locus Map Free (no license check).
So possible reasons for this issue is mainly problem in the internet connection > not just speed, but mainly setup that may cause problems for Locus Map or Google Play apps (VPN, limitations in your country). You wrote that this error appears after few seconds, but the time limit is set to 45 seconds so if this error appears sooner, it may be some weird problem in communication of Locus Map with Google Play.
Btw. are you using official ROM & Google Play?
Anyway, I see no option how we may directly help you because it seems not to be a problem in Locus Map itself. So in case, you won't be able to solve it by yourself and you purchased Locus Map during the last 12 months, I may offer you a refund of your purchase if you send me the ID of your order.
Thanks for understanding,
Jiří M. aka Menion

Hello everyone,
I tried opening Locus Pro today (hoping for some miracle maybe?) and, for some reason, out of the blue, it came working again. I can even download elevation data now. It's a bit weird but I hope the problem won't appear again.
It's almost indispensable in my line of work, plus, I have lots of tracks and points I have not exported yet.
