Choosing new Android phone (January 2021)

I currently have Locus Pro and Brouter on a Samsung S5, with all maps and routes on an external SD card. Will it be possible to move this card to a new Android phone and configure to continue using existing maps, routes and places?
Are any current Android phones easier (or harder) than others to set up with Locus Pro and Brouter?

A detailed description of how to move an external SD card to a new phone can be found at this link on our website.
Unfortunately, setting up a BRouter is complicated everywhere,
in the new Locus Map 4 it will have it integrated.
