V4 import and parallel usage with old version

Hi,
first of all many thanks for the new v4 version! Great job!
I just have two questions about the new version.
1: may I use the old Pro version and the new gold version on the same device before I later switch completely to the new version?
2: are old settings imported to the new version or do I have to setup all things from scratch?

1. You can use Locus Map Pro on the same device together with the new LM4.
2. It is necessary to manually back up the settings via "Backup manager"> and restore the settings from the created backup on the other.

No, during a new installation, the default paths are the same for both applications.
Always in internal memory> "Locus" directory
Only back up your settings if you have both applications installed in the same directory.
