[DE] Legende für Wanderwege
Answered
Auf den LoMaps werden viele markierte Wanderwege angezeigt, die ich immer deaktivire, da es dazu keine Legende gibt. Anklicken der Markierungen funktioniert nicht. Wie kann ich Informationen über die Wanderwege erhalten?
The map legends to Lomaps can be found here. https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=en:Map_Oper_Guide:Maps_LocuSmaps:::Map
In LM4 you can click on the theme for a long time and then show the legend. With Lomaps there is unfortunately no PDF deposited there. But you can create one thing and place with the right name in the right place.
With OAM cards, all this is involved in automatic cards.

I'm NOT looking for map legends. I'm looking for names of "marked hiking trails".
For example:
The blue, red and yellow links on this map are "marked hiking trails". They are marked by the batches the red arrows I've added point to. This is what I'm talking about. Displaying these trails with out any information is IMHO useless. How to get informations about these tails from within locus maps?

Idea: As the information about such hiking trails is comming from OSM Data (and maybe imported in locus), we need a way to access such detailled data in Locus. We allready have similar information in Locus Offline Points for single points. Maybe it is possible to have a the same or a separate area for information about other OSM elements which have certain criteria like the giking trails have. The data model is maybe similar? So display on maps and corresponding data in the offline database could be combined so that clicking on a hiking track or the hiking track symbol could display aditional information like name or a link about the complete OSM data. It would be great to be able to convert OSM data of a hiking trail into a Locus Route with corresponding data (name, description, altitude data, Online-Links).

I'm sorry it's not possible to select or display the details of marked trails. Anyway, we've already thought about similar functionality as @druki mentioned a couple years ago. So maybe we'll implement it one day :) The second option is to display the name of the route directly in the map. I think that I already tried it but it wasn't ideal for the trails with the long name - it was complicated to read the map.
Thanks, Petr

In the current state I consider the marked trails to be useless for me. Especially as they make maps confusing and primarily make it hard to find my own tracks. So I just disable them :-) No problem at all ...
