Guidance recently used not always working

Hi,

when I start a guidance to a new Geocache it is not listed in the recently used history. But when I open the guidance menu and then select the same Geocache within the button 'My points' it is listed.

Also other buttons e.g. like 'Select on map' are not shown in the history.

I don't know if this previously worked in the 3.x version. I just mentioned this great feature in the V4.

Hello Wolfgang,

as you may see in the title of the screen on the screenshot, it is a "Select location" page. It is really used only when the app asks for some location and when you select any, it should be then listed in the "Recently used" tab. So it is not a full list of the last used points in the app. This should be also useful, agree.

Hope my explanation is clear.

ok I understand - I thought it's a real history.

Would it be possible to show the real history in this list? For me it often happens that I enter a guidance to somewhere. Then I check some other things or first I have ne new target and then I want to guide to the old target but where was it? With a history list it would be great.

it is unfortunately not possible to insert here any additional points. It does not even make sense to be true. What you need is something similar to what exists in the side "Map-screen content" menu > Nearest points. Just not nearest, but "Recently used points".

As I wrote, it may be useful, but it is also quite a lot of work and there probably does not even exists an votable idea here on the help desk, so not many people ask for such task, sorry.

yes you're right "Recently used points" would be the right naming for that. Because I thought it's not working correctly I started as a problem but in this case I'll open an idea.
