Track & Points Database Limitations?
Answered
Hello,
Is there a document somewhere that describes the limitation of the Points and especially Tracks database? A possible application would be a cross continent cycle tour where there was little/no connectivity to the network grid. All/most of the route would be loaded into Locus before the trip. Specific parameters would be as follows:
1. Maximum length of a track either in distance or number of points.
2. Maximum number of separate tracks.
3. Maximum number of folders or sub folders in the database.
4. Maximum nesting level of sub-folders.
Thanks,
Steve
Hello Steve,
I hope I'll have a piece of positive information for you. There are generally no limits for the number of points/tracks/groups. Only in the case of question no 4. > only a single sub-level is supported by the app.
Hope I've answered all your questions. Feel free to ask if not.
Best regards,
Jiří M. aka Menion

That helps. Looks like I should be able to load up Locus before a long tour.
Thanks,
Steve
