LoPoint search isn't working as expected
Answered
I used the search for addresses and LoPoints. I searched for "Trinkwasser" (German, drinking water). Also I used the search in LoPoints function. In both searched I got the closest POI in 22 km distance.
When I scroll down through the POI list or the list of POIs in the near, I see the next one in 1.8 km distance.
I'd like to find the closest POI according to my search. Can I do something different?
Hello, currently the search uses only names of objects, not their overall characteristics or categories. This is already done internally and I am working to make this (more complex) search as responsive as possible. It is quite likely that nobody actually gave a name to these sources of drinking water. This is why this behavior may be seen. More complex logic is needed. Hopefully this more complex search is coming soon.

Meanwhile I already thought something like that. Looking for POIs in categories isn't actually not a problem. But it's more scrolling.
I got the idea to set favorites for POI types, e.g. drinking water or supermarket and to have these favorites in a separate tab.

I find the idea with the favorites very well. It would also be good if I could set which POI should be displayed and which are not. Best set in pressets. I want parking but no gas station and no workshop. Is something possible?

It is certainly possible. In fact we designed the system to make the user's personalized presets not too hard to implement. Another question is how these presets should be defined. (there is ~ 120 categories of POI, there may be more than one map theme in the future).

Without preferences:
Behind each category there is a field in which I can deselect the visibility. Standard are all activated. If a lot wants to deactivate, he has to deselect many.
There is the structure main category and then the subcategory. Thus, one could also deselect a main category and thus all subcategories are off.
In the presets, I select "Visibility Lopoi". Then the same overview is open as described above.
I do not know what about a program expenditure. But it would be a very useful tool to have an optimal overview on the card. I just see what I need.
You could start even without presets.
