Is it possible to place more than 2 icons in the lower toolbar or to auto-hide sidebar icons ?

I can only add to the sidebar.
Is it possible to auto-hide incons in the sidebar - like the zoom or recording buttons ?
Having the magnifier button as third item in the lower tool bar - or having it auto-hidden - would be nice.
Hello Jochen,
You can place a maximum of 5 icons in the bottom panel.
You do this in Settings> Control> Panels and buttons> set function panels> list of active buttons in the panels.
The buttons can be moved by dragging their icons up or down with your finger, either between the bottom panel and the right panel.
The map zoom buttons have moved above the bottom panel and can be optionally hidden, as can the record button and all sidebars.
You set everything in Settings> Control> Panels and buttons
Have a nice day
Andrea

Hi Andrea,
in my (German GUI) version, I can change items in Lower panel,
but this does not add things but replaces them (e.g. GPS by magnifier).
The add button adds only to the bottom panel, and I cannot drag/reorder things.
AHA: the dragging does not happen under Settings but only later from the main GUI ...
Auto-hiding the side panel would also be a temp. solution.
Thanks
Jochen

Another question:
How can I change the color in which track are displayed ?
Settings > Points & tracks > line (color + width) have no effect.
Thanks

Thanks. But not very user friendly.
Why can't we use the default track strytle also for recorded tracks by default.
Especially, while recording, we can't change the style, and a red line in a map with red hiking paths is very unreadable.

I found this:
https://help.locusmap.eu/topic/track-color-not-adjustable
-> have a look into your track setting profile...
menu
settings
track recording
foot, cycle or car
scroll down
There, we can change how tracks are lined out :-)
