Change color of Track segments.

Currently I am using the sendTrack() in the API to send Track points to Locus Maps. I see in the Route Planner user interface of Locus Pro that I can set the color or a track. I also know that I can change the entire track color using the setLineStyle() method. I am wondering if I can set the color of sub-section of a track?
I would like to be able to use colors to distinguish between paved and unpaved sections of a trail.
Is it possible via the API to start the track in one color and then at specific points in the track change colors?

such a feature may be nice, but currently does not exists even in the app. Only one "style" object may be attached to the whole track.
