Lomap Offline Poi Search without a map?

I currently have Oam and Lomap on the phone. The Lomap I only installed because of the offline poi search. The Oam I have it because she looks better.
Is it possible to delete the Lomap as a map and only to keep the .db for the POI: Is that enough for the offline Poi looking? Or do I need the card too?
I would save a lot of storage space.

you can try to rename the .db file to match the two tiered prefix of the OAM maps.

Hi,
you can use a workaround that @Michael suggested - to rename the *.osm.db file and use the same prefix for map file and poi db file. For example:
germany_oam.osm.map and germany_oam.osm.db
