Offline maps - Access denied
Answered
Hi
I have some home made map, plus store ones that are all working fine.
I am now trying to use OS Zoom stack as MBtiles.
Locus un-rolls them, but trying to view them I get the Access Denied message.
Obviously Locus can read the offline map location as the others work fine.
Cheers
Chris
Hi Chris,
thank you for the post. It seems that OS Zoom stack is distributed as vector mbtiles. Unfortunately, LocusMap doesn't support vector mbtiles - only the raster mbtiles.
Thank you for understanding

Ah - Thanks for getting back to me - I may look at converting it, although I may then have fun styling it. Or I could use to form a ArcGIS WMS, then tile that up, or just use what I already have.

I'm sorry but honestly, I'm not familiar with conversion vector tiles to raster so I can't give you any clue. Anyway feel free to share with us your approach.
BTW: I think that QGIS is able to render vector tiles and also exports raster mbtiles. Maybe there is a way how to use QGIS for conversion.
Thanks, Petr
