Setting: make received items (via sync) visible

I understand that, by design, items sync'd from one device to another are not visible on the receiving device. I find this somewhat inconvenient. If they're being sync'd, it's likely they're "active" in the user's mind, thus they might want them visible.

Perhaps a setting?

Force visibility ON for received points [ ]

Force visibility ON for received tracks [ ]

Hello Viajero,

I think it is generally a very good idea. So let's try it in the next version with these two new settings and we will see how it will work :).

Hello Viajero,

nice idea. What problem should this solve? I see one major "problem" > track created on the web planner is not immediately visible on the device after sync. Is this case you try to solve?

For me, it's points. I have a dozen folders of points, mostly geocaches from PQs. Also I often create points manually.

Sync is super-convenient, but then it's 2 extra taps to make sure the newly-arrived points are all displayed (compare two numbers), then 3 more taps to force them all to be displayed. I find myself doing this a lot.

Sorry if you already discussed this in the forum somewhere; I wasn't paying attention. :)
