Login to the Locus Store fails with code 500

Wanting to switch from Locus Map Pro to Locus 4 I tried to follow the recommendation to switch by registering the store in Pro and then in 4. So I tried to log into Locus store in Pro and created an account using the email option. Having entered the email and a password I got the message "Hoppla" code: 500".
Trying the same thing again it appears the account creation had worked but I still get the same error message. I cannot log in.
When I logged in on https://web.locusmap.app I received a message that by subscription status could not be determined.
Any hint how I can log into the store and register my Pro status?

Well, I just found an email in my junk mail folder asking for verification of my email address. After having clicked on the link my store login is working now. Issue solved.
It would probably be a good idea if the app gave a hint to look for a verification email.
And another hint. After processing the verification link the page redirected me to http://www.locusworld.com which is just a parking page. Not really a trustworthy behavior.
