Dashboard Shows wrong values for distance to next via

I was some 30m away from my next via point on my trip. But the dashboard still showed a distance of 3.6km (red arrows)
The dashboard seemed to work apart from that, since the total distance was correct (magenta arrows).
After passing by the via everything was correct again (for the next via).
This is the first time I noticed that.

It happened again on a different track. When I took a closer look, I noticed that the error corresponds to the distance to the next routing point *after* the via (see screenshot).
Could this be some kind of off by one error when adding up the segments?
