Icons for child waypoints
Gathering feedback
When I create a waypoint, there is a wide list of map icons to use, including Garmin-specific icons.
But when I create a child waypoint for a geocache, there is only a very small list of 6 icons to use to show on the map. These are all quite small, and do not display well on the map.
I would like to have the full selection of icon images available for child waypoints, too. This would make for a much better display when viewing the map.
Not a perfect solution for you but you can replace the existing 6 default icons for geocache child waypoints by bigger ones than the original. I did it for myself a long time ago.
A description how to to that can be found here.

The ones I like the best are the Garmin icons. Very visible on the map display. They are already built in to Locus. Somewhere. But I have not been able to find them in Locus or online.

Hello John,
if I understand correctly, the problem is the fact that icons are not clearly visible on the map, right? Selecting icons from the full list of options does not seem to me like a correct solution because there should be predefined 6 icons that represent six waypoint types.
If you agree, this topic should be named "Better visible icons for cache waypoints" right? Hmm ...
