Locus Map Pro and Locus Map 4 Gold can I remove the Pro version

I first purchased Locus Map Pro, but for the improved interface (it is really much more intuitive!) I upgraded to Locus Map 4 Gold.

There are 2 issues:

1. I cannot see the tracks I've created and indicated as visible in the app on my Galaxy Watch3, If I do the same in Locus Map Pro I can see the tracks on my watch. What should I do to make it work for Locus Map 4 as well

2. Do I need to keep Locus Map Pro, or can it safely be removed without affecting my subscriptions and stored track?

Hello Mike,

First of all, thank you for upgrading our application to Locus Map 4.

To your problems:

1. Have you downloaded the Locus Map Free Watch add-on?

2. You can uninstall Locus Map Pro.

If both are installed in internal memory, they share the main database files - routes, points and maps.

When you uninstall one of them, nothing happens, the data remains on the device.

It does not affect the subscription - you only have to be logged in with the correct account, ie.

The account you used to purchase the subscription must be the same in the Locus Store.

Thanks for your reply. I had indeed Locus Map Pro on my watch. I've replaced it with Locus Map Free. Now the routes of Locus Map 4 are visible on the watch.

Thanks for your great software. We use it mainly to plan bicycle trips on the web interface, sync them with the phone app and follow the route using the watch. Very convenient!
