How long is last position in live tracking stored

a) in public room?
b) in private room (with subscription)
Reason of why ask?
Can I use this in disaster case. E.g. crash with the MTB even if the crash happened at a place with no reception?`
Does the last position stay alive in the map continuously?

Ok. So I need a subscription for that purpose when I am remote and alone next time.
Another thing would be to also show the time of that last point (if not already realized like that) to the user checking the position.
