Hi Michael,

only to be sure:

- did map work properly after migration?

- what's the location of the map folder, please? (internal mem. sdcard)

- are there another map in this folder that works properly?

Thank you

Petr

In either place it does not work.

Fresh download of OAM-World-1-11-J60 does not help either.

But the same file on my S10 (I do not update that in the near future) works fine with that same file.

Just to be sure I re-download that one on the S10 again.

Hi Michael,

thank you. Could I ask you how was the map imported, please? Did you copy map file into folder /Android/data/.../Locus/maps ? Was it downloaded via Locus action from OAM web page?

Thanks, Petr

Hi Petr,

as I did not remember how the initial map was downloaded, I did a brand new download from OAM, i.e. via Locus action.

Because currently I see no other way to populate extSD/Android/data/menion...

Hope that helps to nail down the issue.

TXs and cheers

Hi Michael, Petr asked me for a help here ...

Not sure why this happens. But please

- new app Beta version: MapGooglePlay_4.5.4.2_1053_beta

- enable logging to file and try to simulate a problem

- then send here a created log from Locus/logs directory, thanks

Also, check what I wrote here ("edit" at the bottom of the post) please, you may do this during creating a log, thanks.

Thank you Menion. And Petr.

I had my booster yesterday and that gets me out of business for 24 hrs, starting 12 hours after the shot.

My concentration is not at the level needed for accurate testing.

TXs for your patience.

Cheers

Hi Michael,

I'm sorry for reminder. Anyway, are you still facing this issue?

Thanks, Petr

TXs, Petr, for cleaning up.

This one can be closed, as the Locus versions evolved re. file handling, for which I did quite some testing beyond this topic. And the temp. permission AFA took away the pains - for now.

Cheers

Michael
