LM ignores my custom

Hi, I am trying to create a providers.xml to add new Online Maps to LM. Unfortunately LM doesn’t recognize them. I store them in /Locus/mapsOnline/custom/providers.xml. In the settings of the app I see the default directory /storage/emulated/0/…..
I can’t change the default directory as it says that my android version doesn’t support it?
Is there any way to solve this? Would love to add the LocusMapTweak from mjk912.

- which Android version is on your device
