problem Switching from monthly to yearly subscrption
Not a Problem
Dear Locus team,
I have a problem reagarding my gold subscription:
Last week I upgraded from annually silver subscription to gold monthly, because I wanted to check a few features of the gold version.
Now I want to switch back to my previous silver annually or gold yearly subscrption.
In the first case, a new subscrption would Start only in Sep. 22. Possible should be Feb. 22 (End of monthly Gold) - Sep. 22.
If I try to switch from gold monthly to annually, I get an error message.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience. DF-DFERH-01 is unfortunately a very general bug and payment is handled by Google Play. It is therefore complicated for us to find out the exact reason.
To explain the situation. The change of subs plan does not affect the renewal date. Your original annual subscription had a renewal date of September 27. Your new monthly Gold subscription has the same renewal date (September 27). Therefore, you had to paid for 9 months of monthly Gold (approx. €17.5) even though you purchased a monthly subscription .
If you select the Silver Annual - your current Monthly Gold will remain active till September 27th because you have already paid for it and the Silver Annual starts on September 27th.
If you select the Gold Annual - Honestly I don't know the exact reason of DF-DFERH-01 error. I guess that Google Play can't purchase it because you (very likely) paid little bit more than the price of 9 months of Annual Gold (9 months worth of Annual Gold is cheaper than 9 months worth of Monthly Gold).
Anyway I completely canceled and refunded the current Gold subscription (Google send money back in next couple days). Please purchase the subscription again. It's up to you if you decide for Annual Silver or Annual Gold.

It was clear to me, at least my silver subscription will last till September. Just wondering why I can't change to gold annually or back 2 silver after a month of gold.
Anyway, with your fast, helpfull and uncomplicated service, you have convinced me even more about Locus Map.
Therefore I did not hesitate and purchased an annually gold subscription.

Dear Michael,
to be honest I'm not sure if we can consider it as Google bug. It may be caused due to our pricing and plan settings. Google should has at least better notification why you can't purchase the subscription.
