Improve accuracy of displayed WebPlanner speed when stopped
Not processed
Below is a screen cap of Locus stopped for fully 41 minutes, but the web planner is displaying 7.9km/h instead of zero. This is very simple to reproduce and not just a matter of GPS positional jitter because there was no GPS signal during this period. The Locus app graph displays zero km/h for this same period, so there is no suggestion of incorrect data.
Hi Andrew,
please, could you share me this particular track or export GPX so I can have a look on it? Thanks a lot
Kind regards,
Ondrej

Thanks Ondrej. I've tried a number of times to delete the start/ end of a GPX to avoid identifying my home, but after import, the WebPlanner no longer displays the Speed checkbox for the chart - any tips?

It took an unnecessary amount of work to remove my start & end points from the GPX file. First I tried to delete 10 x <trkpt> at the start & end of file with an ASCII text editor, but after Import into the Web Planner the graph no longer shows a Speed checkbox (screen cap below). Second I imported to Garmin Basecamp but same issue. And this time the Web Planner was confused by new metadata Garmin had added. Third I used the LM4 track editor to split the track into 3 parts, delete start & end, then sync middle section of the track back to the Web Planner. The Web Planner GPX import is not as good as the LM4 app GPX import for sure.
Also is there a way to delete a saved track from the Web Planner My Library? At present I have to Cloud Sync to phone, delete on phone, then 2nd Cloud Sync back to Web Planner.

Hello Andrew, thank you very much for taking your time to edit the track and sharing it with us. I have also discovered one bug ... missing speed of imported track. I am going to fix it in next release. I am really sorry for the inconvenience. The problem is in the rendering of "no value" in the chart ... currently 2 points are connected with the last known value which is not really correct. I am thinking how to fix it, hopefully into the next release.
GPX import is based on the one in the app ... but still some features are missing. We are working on it and the goal is to have the same import capabilities in the map and also on the web.
Delete action is still not possible from the web :/
Kind regards, Ondrej
