GPS doesn't work when app is runing In background

Hi,
I'm using the new version 4 and I have a problem with the loction while recording a truck in background.
I have to set Android GPS permission to the app "All time" (and not "Just when the app is running" ) because the "Disable when app is hidden" location setting doesn't work when it is off.
It used to work fine in the previous version.

Hello,
this problem is caused by your device system battery optimization.
Exclude Locus from all means of optimization so that the app can run in the background.

I had a similar issue with my new phone and Locus v3: The solution had been to turn on: Settings > GPS & sensors > Google Services assisted location.
When this has been set to off, I had to manually disconnect/reconnect GPS after Locus was in background, cause for some reason Locus wasn't able to receive satellites/GPS-location although GPS in Locus was on.
