Some questions about Navigation

Hello,

I like to make tracks with LocusMap. Now Iike to use it for navigation in Locus Map.

If I make a route, where must I set the (way)point? I mean for or after a turning point, so I get a instuction (that I hear a voice to turn right or left).

And If I have set a route, must I start by the begin, or understand Locusmap if I start halfway through the route?

Hi Jelle,

"If I make a route, where must I set the (way)point?"

- always behind an intersection so that the router knows what direction you want to take

"If I have set a route, must I start by the begin, or understand Locusmap if I start halfway through the route?" (more at https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:planning#add_shaping_points)

- it doesn't matter. Just tap the route on the map and select "Navigation" from the bottom bar menu. Locus understands that you want to go along the route from the point where you stand (more at https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:along-route)

Helli Michal,

Thanks for your answer. I have tried to make a simple route (See Locus Map 001.jpg).

If I done, I see doubble instructions in de listv(See Locus Map 005.jpg).

Okay I must try it yet on the route if it work.
