Geocaching Guide On

I have just changed phones and I have a problem. When geocaching I used to be able to click to guide myself to a waypoint (Guide on). I would have a dotted line from my location to the cache location. That line has now gone. I've searched all over and cannot figure out how to make it do that on my phone.

Thank you for replying. I use a tablet and a mobile with Locus Map. For some time now I have had no guideline on my tablet but my phone was OK. I've just changed mobiles and the same thing is happening with that as well. I have just checked to make sure I still have the problem and I do. This is what I do:
Click on a geocaching waypoint, click on "Guide on". Between my position and the waypoint I used to have a line between the line was dashes, with an arrow at the end. It showed the cache in relation to my position as a straight line. If I am a long way away I just click on "Navigate" and follow directions on the route but this isn't useful when homing in on a cache.
I have searched all over for the answer so hope you can help me.

I understood what you said. I also followed your instructions and the attached photo shows my settings in guidance. What I want is what you have on your screen - little arrowheads pointing from your location to your destination.
