Locus Map Classic 3.61: track modification does not update track info

Alfonico shared this problem 2 years ago
Not a Problem

Hello.

Unless I'm missing something, the way a recorded track can be modified has changed from Locus Map Classic version 3.60.2 to version 3.61.

On 3.61 I could modify the points of the track and add points to the track as on previous version.

When saving the track after editing, the summary information (track length) was updated, reflecting the modified track. The track on the map was also the edited one. But when clicking on the track to see the detailed information, the detailed info was still the one of the original track.

Could be a bug in the new version, or a bug in the interface chair-phone :)

Regards

Hi,

could you please send screenshots of the two different values within one track?

Hello.

Thanks for your reply. I switched back to version 3.60.2 and I cannot access anymore my waypoint and track databases. I tried to copy the folder "database" containing waypoints.db and tracks.db to locations where they used to be, so far without success. As soon as I manage to make sense of this and retrieve access to my databases, I will try again version 3.61 and let you know.

Hi, if you have Android 11 and newer and you performed a new installation, the app installs itself in a private folder in the Android/data directory. If your original data is elsewhere, try to go to Locus settings > Miscellaneous > Default directories > Load app data.

If you have an older Android, the app installs into the root directory of the internal storage and creates new empty database files (Locus /data/database/tracks.db and waypoints.db). Overwrite these files with the original ones and restart the app.

Many thanks! Working on it.

Hello

3.61 reinstalled. I tried again and I found my error. I was using the option "Re-route" instead of "Fine-tune". "Fine tune" to modify the recorded track works as it should.

Thanks again and regards
