Use system Browser as default instead of Locus' internal Browser

Especially within Geocache Listings there can be Links to external Websites, Geocheckers etc.

Sometimes it is better to open them within the external system Browser and not within Locus' internal Browser. (better rendering of special Websites or Scripts, easier Geochecker input, saving of Bookmarks, or just because people prefare "their" well-known Browser interface)

Right now we just could open such links in an external Browser by Long-clicking the link which is not intuitive (I didn't even know that before. Just by chance I stumbled about this feature. You should mention it somewhere in the manual ;-)

My idea: please make the default browser for shortclicks (internal or external) be configurable within the settings. The other browser could be opened by long-clicking.

Hello Sonny,

you may simply tap on the "code" value and there you get an option to open cache detail directly in the web browser. Does it work for you? This should be the easiest method how to do what you need.

Hi Menion,

of course - but that's just a solution for GC-Links. Not for every other kind of link, like to Geocheckers, other informative Websites mentioned in the Listing, Adventure Lab Links etc.

Hello Sonny,

ah, understand. Handling of long click was added in 2016 and to be true, I've forgotten about this as well.

As I think about it, I think that current behavior is ideal. At any moment, you are able by the long-click, open link in any external browser. What is missing is an indication that such function exist. I'll think about some info bubble or something like this, thanks.
