GPX file to large to import
Known
Hello, I got an GPX file to plan our next trekking. But this file is to large to import in Locus. Is there a way to make this work? I would really like to use this GPX file for planning, as there aren't may maps of this remote place.
Thanks so much for helping!
I think (not sure) that you can zip it and locus will import the zip. To be tested.

Hello Jorn,
web system has some size limitations (exact numbers may write @Ondřej Janata who create this system), anyway did you tried to import your file directly in the Android app? There should be no limits at all. Let me know if it works.

Hello Jorn,
I can confirm Menions answer.
I am using GPX-Files for geocaching with 190 to 210 MB file size containing about 10000 to 12000 geocaches / waypoints. They can be imported to the android app of Locus without any problems.

Hello Jorn,
web planner has limit of 10MB for importing GPX file (ZIP currently not supporeted, sorry). For importing larger files, please, use the Android app. Thanks for the understanding.
Kind regards, Ondrej

If possible, maybe split the GPX track into multiple segments/ days/ whatever possible. This could also make it more manageable for visibility and speed of display.
