Track Recording does not pause
I've been having this issue for the past 6 months, where I will press 'pause' on the track recording screen, and I will get feedback saying the recording has been paused. I will also see in the notification panel that the recording has paused, but when I re-open the app to resume recording, say the next day, it will resume track recording and will have been recording the entire night.
e.g.
open app at 7hrs 22mins and pause
wake up the next morning 12 hours later, notification will still say paused at 7hrs 22mins
opening Locus Maps causes it to initialise, and then the track recording will display 19 hrs 22mins, making it appear it was never paused
This is a very frustrating issue for a service which I pay for. I have disabled the 'Restart on initialisation feature' and I also never open the app inbetween pausing and recording out of fear the feature is still on. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Hi Lawrence, are you sure the "self-unpaused" track record contains any data? Could you please send such a recording for a test? Thanks.

Hi Lawrence,
- when you open the app within 10 minutes after the track record pause, the track recording un-pauses automatically
- when you do so later, the app just indicates there is an unfinished track recording and offers un-pausing or stopping the recording - does this happen to you too?
- your track does not contain location data after the pause, the time, however, somehow goes on running like there hadn't been any pause. We are trying to simulate this issue but so far, to no avail. Looking forward to more clues...

Hi Lawrence,
I'm sorry but we are unable to simulate your problem. Without simulating an issue we can't fix it. So, as a workaround, I recommend stopping the recording after your day trip is done and starting a new one the next day. Then you can merge the recorded tracks into one (see https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:management#folder_bottom_panel - the "tools" part).
