Randomly stops logging until I unlock phone
In Progress
Heya
In recent months when I use locus, I can't rely on it.
After a few minutes walking I'll unlock my phone which makes it suddenly acquire my position and so instead of an accurate route, there is a straight line.
This happened again twice today during a 4 mile walk and it's really frustrating.
My phone is a Xiaomi Mi 9 Lite and I have battery saver disabled for locus, I have locus running in the background and also have it to autostart.
I'd appreciate any advice please as it's making locus unusable for me.
I've attached a screenshot and you can see the 2 straight line areas at the bottom. Oh, and this wasn't a built up area, it was at the side of a huge river with plenty of clear sight of the sky.
Thanks for any help. 🙏

Hello,
the problem is obviously in some system optimization. Please, check (one more time) these steps:
https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:faq:gps_lost_fix_android6
And if it is not helpful, try to search for recommendations exactly for your device here: https://dontkillmyapp.com/.
Please, let me know if it helps.

Many thanks.
I already had all the advice settings under control but the 2 things I've done following your advice is granted locus permission to modify system settings (which I didn't want to do) and also lock the app into RAM.
One thing I thought of too is that I have my locus directory on the SD Card and so I've moved that into the internal memory now.
Fingers crossed and thanks again

Hello,
just a tip for the memory:
If you want to save space in the internal memory, we recommend setting the main app directory to internal (better performance) but all other folders you can set to the SD card with no worries (maps, SRTM...).
