Is switching between map downloads possible?

I know that a paused download of a map can be continued later. But suppose I have paused the download of map A, can I also download map B in between and continue with the paused map A later? I am using the paid version of Locus Map 3 Classic.

yes, exactly. Maps (or any other content) are downloaded one by one in the order in which they were entered.
If you pause the "A", then "B" will start. When you unpause "A" then it will return to the cue.
