Plans regarding v3 in the light of v4

we promised to maintain Locus Map 3 Classic for at least 5 years, so there are still a few years to go, but at this time it is not actively developed, it is only bug-fixed and patched.
At the moment we cannot say what will happen after these five years. If there won't be any crucial issues, it's possible that the app will continue in this maintenance mode. But as Android is getting more and more strict on the file system and security aspects, a complete end of support can't be ruled out.
