Customized distance ring

When kayaking I must stay within 1 nautic mile or 300 m from the coast according to maritime regulation. I would like to set two distance circles exactly on those distances and customize colours as well, if possible. Is that feasible by changing some configuration files?

it is only possible to change the color of the distance rings in the expert settings:
It is not possible to change the displayed distance of the rings by any means.
