Voice coach & TTS
hi,
recently I analyzed the sense of using a voice trainer that reads the pulse from the HR sensor.
The readings are with a very large time interval, no matter what the pulse is.
So I decided that this option does not make sense at all, especially since the dashboard displays my current heart rate.
What in exchange?
Everyone has a maximum heart rate that should not be exceeded.
And now, when this value was exceeded, I would hear the coach's voice as an alert.
I think it can be done (as in sports watches).
The next problem is incorrect readings via TTS.
I don't know if it's Google's fault or yours.
Well, the distances to turns are misread (I don't know if I can translate it correctly), e.g.
Turn left in 1.3 km - for the first three km (as if that was a time reading?!),
second: right after 45 m - after the fourth five m.
Regards
Waldo
Hello,
there are a lot of ideas on how to improve the Audio Coach. If you want, you can vote for them: https://help.locusmap.eu/search/tag%3Aaudio+coach
And for the misreading of the values - we have registered some reports recently, so we take a look at this, but as we are finishing some tasks for the next version, it will be a little bit later. Thank you for your understanding.

hi,
I did not add that the TTS messages concern the Polish language.
Since two updates, they are stylistically very incorrect in Polish.

Hello,
there were no changes in Locus TTS implementations recently.
Please check the settings of the TTS on your phone, maybe try to uninstall Polish and download the package again. We also recommend using the Google TTS engine.

Hello,
we made some tests and we can't simulate any issue, so probably it is some device-specific issue.
In this case, we can't help you more, but if you'll find any solution or way how to reproduce it on any device, let us know.

cześć,
TTS Samsunga działa dobrze, więc TTS Google dla języka polskiego jest dziełem Google.
