Feature to smooth out gpx track
Answered
Is there somewhere a built-in feature (or is it maybe planned) to smooth out an imported, e.g. poorly recorded gpx track? So far I always have to run the gpx file through another gpx editor and then reimport it into Locus.
Hi,
it is possible to correct the GPS glitches with the track editor, see https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:editing#edits

Ok, yeah, that helps a little. Thanks! But I had more of a feature in mind where you can enter a threshold or some kind of factor eliminating points with more or less identical or conspicuosly similar coordinates. Or maybe something like "delete every fifth point" etc. This way you wouldn't need to edge out poorly recorded parts one by one but automatically by selecting a factor and a touch of a button.

AFAIK such a feature is not planned and even not demanded by other users, see the "idea" section of the helpdesk (at least, I didn't manage to find any such idea).
